Brunsmark Circular Trail – Right from the Doorstep
The 5 km easy circular trail starts right at our holiday home. It is ideal for a relaxed walk and can easily be extended to 10 km via Lake Schmilau and the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. The route is flat and very suitable for children and the elderly.
Elbe-Lübeck Canal Cycle Path – The Flat Dream Route
The 62 km long Elbe-Lübeck Canal Cycle Path passes directly by Brunsmark. This flat and mostly asphalted route is perfect for families and e-bikes. Along the route, you can marvel at historic locks and visit cozy cafés in Mölln.
Hellbachtal Circular Trail – The Natural Jewel near Mölln
Only 10 minutes from the holiday home is the 8 km long, medium-difficulty Hellbachtal circular trail. It leads through one of Schleswig-Holstein's most beautiful valleys with old beech forests and picturesque streams. The route has some elevation gain, and dogs on a leash are welcome.
Schaalsee Circular Trail & Long-Distance Trails
The 55 km long Schaalsee circular trail in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve offers breathtaking nature experiences. A shorter 12 km variant starts from Zarrentin. The E1 European long-distance trail and the Salemer Moor nature trail (3 km, ideal with children) are also easily accessible.
Cycling Tours for Families & Leisure Cyclists
We recommend these relaxed routes: Brunsmark to Mölln and around the Schulsee (18 km, easy), the canal loop via Güster to Büchen (30 km, easy), the lakes tour to Ratzeburg (35 km, medium), or the Baltic Sea tour to Travemünde (50 km, return journey by train possible). A lockable shed for your bikes is located at the house, and bike rental is available in Mölln.
Practical Tips for Your Active Holiday
For your active holiday, we recommend the bike rental Zweirad Gräning in Mölln. Repair shops, Komoot, and ADFC maps help with orientation. Enjoy restaurants along the routes in Güster, Mölln, Ratzeburg, and Salem. Your bike is safely stored in our lockable bike shed. The best season for tours is from April to October.
