Equally worth seeing are the Duchy of Lauenburg District Museum and the Ernst Barlach works in the cathedral. A walk around the cathedral peninsula offers magnificent views. The city is also world-famous as a rowing stronghold – the international rowing regatta on Lake Küchensee is an annual highlight.
