Spring – Awakening of nature
When the days get longer, life awakens in the nature park. Observe the return of migratory birds, marvel at the first colorful flower meadows, and take walks in pleasantly mild temperatures. The many traditional Easter bonfires in the region are a special experience for the whole family.
Summer – Lakes & sunny days
Summer belongs to the water. The more than 40 lakes in the region invite you to swim, paddle, and sail. Start early for a bike ride along the Elbe-Lübeck Canal and end the evening with a barbecue on the spacious sun terrace in your own garden – pure northern German summer flair.
Autumn – Colors & tranquility
In autumn, the forests turn into a golden sea of color. The air is clear and fresh – perfect weather for extensive hikes and mushroom picking in the dense beech and oak forests. A spectacular natural event is the crane migration, which can be observed up close near Lake Schaalsee.
Winter – Coziness & silence
When frost covers the landscape, absolute silence sets in. Go on romantic winter walks along frozen shores and reward yourself afterwards in the soothing warmth of our fully heated A-Frame house.
