Explore the region by bike, on foot, or by canoe. The Elbe-Lübeck Canal leads directly past Brunsmark and offers flat, easy-to-ride paths for extensive tours.
Concrete Hiking Routes
Start directly from the front door on the easy Brunsmark circular trail (approx. 5 km). More demanding is the Hellbachtal circular trail near Mölln (approx. 8 km) or stages of the Schaalsee circular trail. The nature trail in the Salemer Moor also offers fascinating insights. GPS data and maps help you with orientation.
Canoeing, Fishing & Nature Experiences
Discover the lakes from the water! Canoe and kayak rentals can be found in Mölln and Güster directly on the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. Anglers with a license get their money's worth at the fish-rich waters. In autumn, the region is a paradise for mushroom pickers and bird watchers – the crane migration at the 'Oldenburger Wall' near the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee is particularly impressive.
