Holiday with Dog in the Nature Park

With its 1000m² large, completely fenced garden, our holiday home offers the ideal freedom for your four-legged friend. Here your dog can romp safely while you relax on the terrace. Dogs are not only tolerated in the house, but warmly welcome.

The surroundings of Mölln and Ratzeburg are perfect for long walks. Discover the numerous hiking trails in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park or visit the designated dog beaches at Lake Ratzeburg for a refreshing cool down.

Water-loving dogs will find several places to cool off in the area. Einhaus has a natural bathing spot on Lake Ratzeburg, and other suitable shore sections can be found around Ratzeburg and at several nearby lakes. Always follow local signs, leash rules and seasonal restrictions.

Should medical help be needed, you are well looked after in Brunsmark. The nearest veterinary practice is only a 10-minute drive away in Mölln. For your four-legged friend's physical well-being, you will also find a 'Fressnapf' pet store and other shopping facilities for pet supplies there.

To ensure all guests feel comfortable, we ask you to observe a few small rules: Dogs are not allowed on the couch or bed. A feeding area can ideally be set up in the spacious kitchen. Please bring your own dog bed or blanket. The 1000m² garden can be used by your four-legged friend at any time. Please do not leave your dogs alone in the house to avoid stress for the animals.

1. Brunsmark circular trail: 5 km, easy. 2. Lake Schmilau loop: 8 km, easy. 3. Elbe-Lübeck Canal to Mölln: 12 km, easy. 4. Hellbachtal near Mölln: 8 km, medium (leash required). 5. Salemer Moor nature trail: 3 km, easy. 6. Lake Ratzeburg shore path: 6 km, easy. 7. Schaalsee Zarrentin: 12 km, medium. 8. Pinnsee forest loop: 4 km, easy. 9. Gudower Lakes circular route: 7 km, easy. 10. Pipersee hike: 5 km, easy.

1. Einhaus at Lake Ratzeburg: a natural bathing area on the western shore. 2. Other sections around Lake Ratzeburg may be suitable for walks and cooling off, depending on local signs. 3. Lake Mechow: a peaceful natural setting with protected areas. 4. Lake Lütau: a small lake in wooded surroundings. 5. Lake Pipersee: shaded paths and natural shorelines. 6. Lake Pinnsee: an idyllic forest lake. 7. Lake Salem: family-friendly bathing areas. Always check current local signs, leash rules and whether dogs are permitted to enter the water.

Remember the following items: EU pet passport, valid rabies vaccination, liability insurance, tick protection, favorite food and treats, leash, harness, and muzzle (if necessary), plenty of dog poop bags, sleeping blanket or basket, and a pet first-aid kit. For emergencies: The veterinary practice in Mölln (04542-838700) is only 10 minutes away, and the veterinary clinic in Lübeck (0451-3907070) can be reached in about 35 minutes.

During the breeding and nesting season from April to July, a general leash requirement applies in nature reserves and forests. Outside these times and areas, off-leash running is often possible. Please always take dog poop bags with you and dispose of them properly. Do a tick check after every walk. In summer, remember to bring a water bowl, and leash your dog immediately upon encountering wildlife.

Morning: A relaxed first walk along the Elbe-Lübeck Canal, followed by breakfast on the terrace while the dog sniffs around the fenced garden. Late morning: A trip to the dog beach at Lake Ratzeburg for some action. Noon: A cozy picnic by the lake. Afternoon: A short rest in the shaded garden or an exciting hike through the Hellbachtal. Evening: A wonderful barbecue on the terrace while the dog dozes contentedly on its blanket.
